Every girl should have a Father who shows her what love is all about. Every girl should have a Father like mine. I could tell you over 80 reasons in a blink of an eye, why my Dad is a gem. How he is a generous man, how he would give you the shirt off his back, his wrangler jeans, and boots too....even if he was standing, stranded outside, in a snowstorm, and you had a snowsuit on. He is loving down to the bare bone.
Every girl should have a Father who tells her the world is a beautiful place, and that she is worthy of it.
Every girl should have a Father who loves her, and shows her that she deserves to be loved endlessly.
Every girl should have a Father who shows her that he can be wrong, and knows how to say I am sorry, or I don't know, and tells her, we can figure it out together. Every girl should have a Father show her his sensitive side and his wise strength.
Every girl deserves a Father like mine. He is a wonderful man, and I love him. Does it show?
Happy Eightieth Birthday George Amaro! You're 80! You hit that high number with pizazz and dazzle, Yahoo! I hope I follow in your footsteps every step of the way (minus the motorcycle stunts of course.)
You are truly blessed.
My "Father" died a virtual stranger to me.
You share so much love.
God bless your Dad.
Long may he live.......
Love Jeanne

I'm with Jeanne..
You are soooo lucky to have such a wonderful father.
No wonder you have a wonderful French husband!

You are BLESSED with a father like yours! Happy 80th to him and may he live to be a 120!
I know what it is to have a father like yours, for 22 years I miss mine, but I remember him with joy!
And it hurts to see the pain in my husbands eyes, who would like to be a father like that and cannot be a father, because his daughters don't want him near! I am so sorry for them!
Posted by: Francisca | 11 April 2007 at 12:28 PM
Lucky you, Corey...
Keep worshipping your hero!
Keep cherishing and loving your father!
May he ride his Harley long...
May you all hear it roar on and on!
(Can I allow myself to send him 2 kisses on his cheeks?
Hope my French ways match the event!)

I knew before I logged on today that your post would make me cry. The shot of my uncle sticking his tongue out provided some comic relief in the beginning. Your dad's brother did not share his Joie de Virve and what a loss for him and all of us. I'm so glad I have an uncle that lives life to the fullest and shares his love and laughter with all those that grace his presence. I LOVE YOU, UNCLE GEORGE. HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Linda

Every girl *should*, perhaps, but *every* girl is by no means this fortunate. It's always reassuring to see your father posts and be thus nourished by somebody who treasures this particular gift of what-should-be rather than taking it entirely for granted.
