French, 1800s letter box in such a wonderful tattered state? The box opens, and than has two compartments with antique decoupage decals. Inside, the two letter box compartments are framed with worn paper lace. (Approx. eight inches envelope size). For those of you who enjoy mix media this is a wonderful starting point....

Nineteen century letters. Certainly you have seen movies where the girl waits desperately for the post to come? And when the butler brings in the long awaited letter she grabs it and races to her room to read it alone....
These are such letters, not love letters mostly invoices, but letters nevertheless that were hand delivered, folded with the address marked on the paper directly.

Bronze buckle with a hand painted image on bone. The oil painting depicts the French countryside, ultra charming one of a kind piece. Would make for a wonderful jewelry element, and or as an clasp for the back side of a necklace. Could be framed as well.
