Last night in Paris was an evening of musical beds. I woke up several times to check on my nieces, as I know the first night away from home can be a bit sad, and jet lag can have you wide awake in the middle of the night. Each time I checked on them it seemed someone had hopped beds, my youngest niece joined me in my bed around 4am.
This morning we had to be at the train station early to catch the train to the south of France, I felt like the wicked witch having to wake them up, but they did so without any fuss. We made it out of the apartment in record speed, thirty minutes and caught the metro to Gare de Lyon where we had breakfast before catching the TGV.
We will stay in the south for a few days before heading back to Paris. Hopefully, the sun will come out and summer will stop playing hide and seek with us.
Le Train Bleu
Those two did not sleep on the train, but the rest of us sure did.
Jet lag behind them the adventure really begins!
