When my friends from Wyoming said they wanted to come to Provence and see it through the eyes of creative exploration and antiques I knew we were going to have a good time.
Kim and Molly stayed a week, Yann drove (Superhero) as I tend to fall asleep at the wheel which makes for a stressful adventure.
Every day we left around 9 in the morning and would return in time for dinner.
Long full day glorious days even during the weekend when it was raining and cold.
We got along like peas in a pod.
Cooking while Molly snapped this photo.
My friends at the brocante market.
One of those things came home with us.
Favorite words together!
We stopped in a different village every day: Lauris, Avignon, Cotignac, Lourmarin, Aix, Isle sur la Sorgue, Marseille, Villeneuve, Venelles... and antiqued our way through each of them.
I bought over a 100 antique glass votives that came from the local church from my friends Jean and Nathalie in Lourmarin. I am going to put them on the dinner tables at the wedding.
I love that this dealer is called:
Which is "Mr. Butterfly".
Wearing wool and boots in May.
When are you coming?
