Flickering Light
We are like a crystal suspended by a silver thread, a strong arm, and with a soul... floating in the universe. Reflecting light, holding light and as the Light passes through us we are alive sending out a multitude of tinted light...rose, green yellow, blue....violet too.
When our Mothers carry us in their womb a different glow radiates from their being, and when our hour comes to go beyond here and now, the light flickers waving at us to understand, to grasp, to hold on, to let go.... to follow.
Without light there is darkness, a stillness, another journey.
My father's light flickers less today. With mixed emotion I hold on to the light above that filters through the universe, and cry.... "Your will be done, your will be done."
Dear Corey,
There is so much that I want to say...
My heart is full of emotion and my prayers are
constant for you and your whole family. Your Father is in the BESY of Hands...he knows it!
He will not remember his suffering...only the love that surrounds him.
May your gentle heart find peace dear Corey.
Love,
Leslie

It is so difficult watching the light dim.
Take care

Oh Corey. Still thinking of you with tears & prayers & love.
It has been Holy Week for us in the Orthodox Church....please know I've been lighting candles during the many services for you, your father and and all who love your father so much.
Tonight's midnight Matins will begin the service for Holy Pascha....and I will continue in supplications on your behalf.

When the light was dimming for my mother, I held on the fact that her days were already determined by a sovereign God.
It gave me so much peace...in so many ways.
My heart is with you, dear Corey.

Oh, Corey. I'm not sure what to write. I wish I was there to put my arm around your shoulders, though.

Corey, I'm so glad that you have the faith you do!
Sometimes I think God gives us the words to pray when we can't find them for ourselves.
I'm sending loving thoughts and saying prayers for you and your family today.
