French Wine Tasting
What does it mean to be French?
After living in France for over 18 years, does that make me "un peu" French? Does wine taste the same after a few years? Is this man more American than French, after being married to me? And what is the best vintage on a bottle of love? Tell me do you drink it everyday?
Uncork the "oh la la" and drink!

I have been a Royal drinker for I drink English wine a lot more than French one :)

Hubba Hubba Hubby! Wow!
They say that fruit, an I imagine wine, has two peak moments. The one at its first blush emergence into being, full and new. The other, the last dense sugary moment just before becoming overripe on the branch.
For myself, I am enjoying the latter far more.

That picture could be used for a add for a winery... I use to go to wine tasting parties years ago. I loved it....and tasting the different kinds....my daughter Lisa has a wine cellar....and it's real cool.....I've reserved my spot in it.....lol

Love is a vintage that can only improve with age, given the correct storage conditions of course. It must be got out for an airing regularly not shut in a cellar and hoarded. The more you sip it, the fuller the glass remains.

Hi Corey..since I married my husband 37 years ago wine has always been a part of our lives...He is a first generation American and his family came from Italy in the early 1900. I find a glass with dinner a joyful part of daily life along with the food and conversation. As we discuss the highs and lows of our day....

What a person is comes from the heart not the country, and the best vintage on love... that's a tough one, but I vote for mature love...
And, YES, I drink wine everyday. The dark red keeps my blood pressure low. And...I can hardly wait to drink the wine that Jesus makes! lol.

i like learning about wines, though not a regular wine drinker per se...but i will enjoy a glass or two of some nice shiraz or chardonnay...
i do enjoy touring vineyards & stealing some tastes from the barrels!

I drink a bottle of wine every day...
doesn't that make me a wino? I'd rather be a wino than a whine-o. And these days, I'd rather be more stereotypically french than american.

I enjoy a little less wine these days but it makes it even more special when I do have a glass. And yes, he would make me run off to France too!

My husband, although British, is quite the wine afficionado. He has a nice collection in the cave and sometimes buys wine at auction. We drink wine n weekends and maybe once during the week. The photo of Yann is wonderful! He's so handsome - has that French flair and style.

Seems like we collect the wine more than we drink it. I suppose we do that in a lot of areas of our lives don't we?
And about your French husband? WOW!!!!!!

One of your cousin's told me about your blog about a week ago and I look forward to read it everyday. I can't believe you have been there 18 years! But then again your children should still be in grade school. Life does move on, we all grow up, raise our own families and treasure all the memories we make past, present and the new ones to come. Thanks Cori
I drink my bottle of love everyday! A bottle of wine always goes better with a few friends or two bottles.

Your Yann is quite the sophisticated man, Corey, et tres beau! I don't know anything about wine beyond, This is good! Pour me another! Place a vanilla latte in front of me, however, and oooh la la, it's a different story!

What a lovely picture, your husband is such a handsome man. I can imagine him on a wine-tasting program :)

I find myself passing the lovely bottles of wine thinking it would be so wonderful to enjoy a glass but how to choose...beautiful labels call to me but perhaps the contents will diminish the common joy I felt just looking at the lovely bottle. Thus, I only dream about uncorking a bottle and enjoying a glass, maybe one day.
