Feather Fluff
When I worked with a furniture reproduction company, I was amazed to learn that containers of FEATHERS were sent to the USA to stuff pillows, comforters and sofas. Containers full of feathers! Can you imagine all the plucked geese it takes to fill a container full of feathers?! Plus not have them crushed in packing and handling. Finding an old feather duster yesterday made me think of those feathers plucked. Maybe feather comforters and such, will be consider cruelty to fowl one day!
